Mindless was one of the first digital skull series that I started to add color and gradients and other textures. It became a balance of how much to push the bright colors with the dark imagery. Original vector black and white drawing and the color version are also shown below.
The black and white drawings from the skull series were often inspired by art challenge prompts, I believe this one was related to “melt.”
